FOLDER-GLUING MACHINE OPERATOR - DUNCAN PRINT GROUP

A position is available for an enthusiastic Gluing Machine Minder (folding/gluing machine operator) to join our packaging finishing department. The ideal candidate should have experience of running Folding/Gluing machines. 

We are looking for someone who is keen to contribute to the growth of the business and become a proactive member of the finishing team. This role would suit an individual with a high level of motivation to continually improve quality and performance and a ‘can do’ attitude to solving problems.

As a BRC accredited packaging manufacturer, we work to BRC food packaging standards and have ISO 9001 quality accreditation. These standards focus on good manufacturing practices and high standards of hygiene. Training will be given to a promising candidate who may lack experience.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate will have worked in a luxury carton board packaging manufacturing site with experience in setting up and running Folder gluing machines for the following types of cartons:

  • Tuck end cartons

  • 4 corner glued trays

  • 6 corner glued box

  • Pillow packs

  • Crash-lock bottom boxes

  • Envelope lock bottom boxes

  • Wallets

  • Sleeves

  • Double walled trays

The candidate will be joining at an exciting time for the company which is expanding its customer base to gain more business in food and luxury brand packaging.

  • Working hours are: Monday to Friday, double day shifts of 06:00-14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 rotating weekly.
